Mr. Eric Maurer honored by Catholic Schools office

Updated: Jun 15, 2020

Our very own Mr. Eric Maurer was honored by the Catholic Schools Office of the Archdiocese of Boston this Spring. He was one of the ten recipients of the Excellence in Education Award. Mr. Maurer has had a tremendous impact on Saint Paul's Choir School, and we are excited that in his second year here he has already achieved this honor.

'“The ten recipients were nominated by parents, administrators, students, and/or their peers because of their strong leadership qualities, Catholic values, academic excellence, and their commitment to their students as well as schools," said Thomas Carroll [Superintendent of Archdiocese of Boston Catholic Schools].'

Mr. Maurer teaches Science, Latin, and Math. He runs the Stock Market Club and the Classics Club. He is an ardent supporter of Classical education and infuses his classes with its tenets and virtues.

Thank you and congratulations, Mr. Maurer!
