The celebrated Choir of Saint Paul's Harvard Square presents its third album in a decade, featuring the music of Gabriel Fauré and composer, James Kennerley, accompanied by the Boston Sinfonietta. Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, Op. 48, is heard in a performance of the quintessential treble of the boys’ voices in sublime arrangements. Faure’s Cantique de Jean Racine is also recorded for the first time in a brand-new orchestration. Captured in the sumptuous acoustics of Saint Paul’s Church, this sublime recording is adorned throughout with the perfect combination of original compositions which hold beautifully alongside the venerable and beloved works from Fauré.
