Dear Friends,
At Saint Paul’s Choir School, we lovingly translate our motto, Repleatur os meum laude tua, as “let my voice be filled with God’s praise.” While it may stretch the original Latin slightly, it captures perfectly the heart of our mission, because voice is at the center of everything we do. Today, we write to share with you the gift of our students’ voices - in all of its many forms including song, prayer, and agency - and to ask for your support of the Saint Paul’s Choir School Annual Fund.
This spring, twenty-six of our students traveled to France for a choral tour that brought the mission of Saint Paul’s Choir School to life in extraordinary ways. We are pleased to share a glimpse of that pilgrimage with you and hope you enjoy it.
The Saint Paul’s professional choir of trebles, boys in grades five through eight, offered concerts at Église Saint-Sulpice, Notre-Dame-des-Blancs-Manteaux with the Choeur de Paris, Chartres Cathedral, and La Madeleine, in addition to singing Mass at Solesmes Abbey.
This journey held particular significance for our school’s history. Our founder, Dr. Theodore Marier, spent time at Solesmes studying Gregorian chant privately with Dom Joseph Gajard, O.S.B., the renowned choirmaster of the Abbey. During our visit, the boys stood in the very room where those lessons took place, connecting them directly to the living tradition they now carry forward through their own voices.

These performances demonstrated not only the remarkable musical growth of our students, but also the enduring power of our mission. It is the boys’ voices that open these doors — and it is your generosity that makes these opportunities possible. See more of our trip on our slideshow presentation, available here.
The support we receive through the Annual Fund sustains every part of the Saint Paul’s experience: rigorous academics, formation in the Catholic faith, daily musical instruction, and the unique discipline and confidence that come from singing sacred music at the highest level. With the support of alumni, families, parishioners, faculty, and friends like you, we can continue guiding our students toward lives shaped by beauty, faith, discipline, and service.
I send you my warmest greetings, along with the heartfelt gratitude of our entire school community. Thank you for all you have done to share in this mission and to help educate and elevate these young men through such a unique and beautiful tradition.
With gratitude,
Patrick Moran
Head of School
