Pergolesi's Stabat Mater

Composed in the final weeks of his life, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater is one of the most celebrated compositions of its kind. Hailed by Jean Jacques Rousseau as "most perfect and touching," the 1736 piece is a fitting addition to our choristers' repertoire of choral masterworks.
